The material properties of the Polymer and Specific Gravity for PTFE should conform to the test result as specified in the ATM F 1545 when tested in accordance with relevant Test Methods. In very low temperature ( -29 deg c.) application with Fluoroline T, consideration must be given to the suitable material of Housing . Fabricated and Cast Steel Housing are available for low temperature service also.For information on the Chemical resistance of Fluoroline K amd P please refer to the Factory Technical Service Department.

Housing for Pipe Spools

Carbon Steel PipesPipe material (Seamless quality) to ASTM A 106 Gr-B sizes 25 NB to 200 NB are supplied in Schedule 40 wall thickness. The 250 NB and 300 NB are supplied in Schedule 30. Dimensional standard in accordance ro ANSI B 36.10Flanges : Slip-on & Lap Joint Flanges (Flat Face)For ANSI 16.5 Class 150 and Class 300 flanges with collar for Lap Joint are generally supplied from plate material IS 2062 GR-A. Flanges in material A 105 are provided if specifically requested at the time of making the offer. For DIN and BS 10 standards, flanges are supplied from plate material IS 2062 Gr-A only.Low temperature steels and stainless steel pipes are available for which the requirement with service conditions should be referred to factory.

Housing for Pipe Fittings

1. As a standard, Housing materials for all fittings are generally S.G.Iron Castings conforming you BS 2789 Gr 420/12 and or its Indian equivalent. Alternatively, Steel Housing are fabricated using pipe, flanges and plate material as found necessary.
2. Elbows lined with PTFE are also supplied formed from pipe material with flanges (fixed)welded on both ends.
3. Housing material for Reducing Flanges are also offered using plate material IS 2062 Gr-A.
4. Housing material for Lined Spacers will be from plate material IS 2062 Gr-A only.
5. Steel castings to ASTM A 216 Gr.WCB, Stainless steel Castings and fabrications can be made available for which the requirement with service conditions should be referred to factory.
